What is WLR3

Wholesale Line Rental 3 (WLR3) enables Communications Providers (CPs) to offer their own branded telephony products to retail customers over the core BT network. It is a successor to Wholesale Line Rental 2 and the Service Provider Gateway (SPG), which will be discontinued by mid-2010.

In contrast to Wholesale Line Rental 2, BT Openreach require CPs to build & integrate their own systems into the BT Equivalence Management Platform (EMP) - a complex and technical undertaking.

EquiLine provides CPs with a low cost, turn-key solution which is fully integrated into BT Openreach's EMP systems stack for WLR3. Using EquiLine, CPs can perform automated PSTN/ISDN fulfilment, assurance and SLA management activities quickly and simply, yielding better customer experience at lower cost.
